  1. kanimal, since I messaged you and haven't heard back from you I figured I'd go this way.  I checked those links out and they don't tell you much of anything except about the wreck itself.  John Drum and Melvin Drum  (only one M) were not brothers.  If you would like any other info, please contact me.

Sorry,I don't think i got your message, but thank you for the info.My Aunt gave me the book"The Wreck of the Red Arrow"by Dennis P. McIlnay.

  2. My husband wants to prune them back almost to trunk and down to trunk from top. I think it's too much.I can see pruning where they are dead but some of the branches he wants to cut have what looks like an apple at the end ,any help would be greatly appreciated !

  3. We'll talk. I've NEVER felt any thing but at home here and have NEVER been afraid, but the ex was afraid of loud "knock, knock, knocking" in the night, smell of perfume in a bedroom we didn't use and I had nothing that smelled like it,dogs would not go thru a certain downstairs room,a lot more

  4. Thanks for the info.I'll share it with my aunt who inherited this beautiful plant from my great aunt.I'm not sure why she thought she needed to cut it back, maybe because it's getting so big ! The one thing we did know was how expensive it is

  5. The Mansion was beautiful! Inside was just incredible, all the hard wood, huge stair cases( well they were huge to me and so were the window sills where I would sit some times when I got to go to work with my Aunt, who was very sad to see the building's demise)My parents were involved in the "Town and Gown" plays that were held in the auditorium.

The "Wig Waum" got it's name because Mr.Mc Creight brought a lot of Native American Chiefs to his house, he was also made an honorary Chief.
