In Feb.1947 a train,The Red Arrow,wrecked in Altoona. The passenger list included 2 brothers from DuBois,Melvin & John Drumm. One brother was killed (John ?) and the other was injured,but survived. Does anyone have any more info.? Thanks

Once again, I feel there's something wrong with the water in/coming in to our pond(have some yr.old bull frog tadpoles floating ! The fish ,we have 3 "Koi"(sp?)and the big frogs are fine. I can't find the phone number for water analysis.Thank you !

Just found out that you can prune them back a lot ! He only did one tree as an experiment as I was kinda worried !

My husband wants to prune them back almost to trunk and down to trunk from top. I think it's too much.I can see pruning where they are dead but some of the branches he wants to cut have what looks like an apple at the end ,any help would be greatly appreciated !

Thanks for the info.I'll share it with my aunt who inherited this beautiful plant from my great aunt.I'm not sure why she thought she needed to cut it back,maybe because it's getting so big ! The one thing we did know was how expensive it is

The Mansion was beautiful! Inside was just incredible, all the hard wood,huge stair cases( well they were huge to me and so were the window sills where I would sit some times when I got to go to work with my Aunt,who was very sad to see the building's demise)My parents were involved in the "Town and Gown" plays that were held in the auditorium. The "Wig Waum" got it's name because Mr.Mc Creight brought a lot of Native American Chiefs to his house, he was also made an honorary Chief.
