I’m so greatful for all the kind words and love! You guys it’s been tough but I’m making it and things are good! I only have till tues to be totally moved so plz let me know something about these fur babies, if I don’t find t a home soon, and for any reason can’t get them to the sanctuary, then they will be put to sleep and that idea is not sitting well with me, but come tues my landlord, will call animal control... I talked with him yesterday and they are helping me believe it or not, so I’m hoping we can find a safe place for these critters. I cannot keep them at my new place no matter what, the dog will eat them and there is no place I really wish to keep them over there as beans has free range and uuugh it just won’t work out! on my ft porch I have 2 feeders bout 15' apart 6 birds comeing in one chases others off all time should I put some zanax in feed to calm them down?

this spring i cleaned it out removed dead branches thats all, from what i found out how old house is and how big trunk is i would think it is bout 100 yr old

Repel - Lemon Eucalyptus Insect repellent for skin.

DEET is worthless against ticks.

 

The only thing that will reliably kill ticks on clothing worn outdoors is a hot dryer.  

 

All shrubbery around gardens or children's play areas should be removed because ticks hate sunlight and dry air.  Keep the grass mowed in recreation areas.  If you're going into tick territory then treat your skin and clothing, and shower immediately on returning home.  Toss clothes into the dryer first so you don't spread them through the washer onto other clothing.

I don't really care where anyone shops and we all know that these stores exist and carry seeds.  This is just a running comment on interesting seeds for the gardener not an advertisement.  If Steve wants to go in and remove the store names he has the power to do so.
