my garden is done. Not many tomatoes, hot peppers did very well, squash died early, potatoes look like they are from mars. not oval. Green peppers out of 12 plants I got 1 pepper. Really ? Now I am looking for cabbage to make my pigs for winter. Maybe too early yet.

I have not seen a toad or frog in so long in my garden. I did have them a while ago, but I had a lot more rhubarb there for covering.

Yeah I remember him. Very kind man, very dirty. Kids would go up to him and ask him to bend a coin. I think he did once, but did not like people hanging around him. Just did was needed to get done and left. His shack is still up down the hill from CTK.

This topic has me intrigued. Tunnels freak me out. Not saying someone else find them interesting. But I do like to read about their finds. Cemeteries are another subject.
