Pheobe

It's hard to determine it's size from the picture - but it's either a male Downy Woodpecker or a male Hairy Woodpecker.  Downy Woodpeckers are smaller than the Hairy and have a short stubby bill.  If that's a large suet cake - I'd say it's a Hairy.  

A few years ago I moved to a new house and brought my peonies with me.  I moved them in April and while the plant survived, that year's blooms didn't.  

I hope you'll post more pictures using your macro lens.  I've been thinking about buying one.

I brushed the snow off of them last week - and then 8 more inches fell.  When I saw the snow had finally melted off  today - I thought I'd better get a picture!
