My mom in Washington County is having trouble with that too. My tomatoes look great but it's rained here practically all summer, I think I've had to water the garden three times. My problem is that we planted gourds for fun and I think I'm going to have about 50 gourds, I have no idea what to do with them!

Thanks Petee!

We are infested, but we also have 10 foot ceilings and they know I am short!! :tant::tant:

So I was leaving my house today and put my hand on the handrail right on a stink bug and it stinked me. Then, 5 minutes ago one apparently fell off my ceiling and landed in my hair. This video makes me feel better!!! (Sorry, can't embed)

Oh my goodness, reading the really old threads and not much has changed, subjects of threads are the same 6-7-8 years ago

Aw...he was beautiful

Yeah, just like I tried to reason with the Dill. "Please Dill, I don't eat you, stop coming up all over." Sure. LOL

Pink? Mine are just like the picture but the foliage is not very attractive. Would probably look nice in a bed, mine unfortunately shoot up in a strange place in my driveway.

Good luck, have been trying to kill mine for 5+ years. Ugly, IMO.

If you REALLY don't like a neighbor, plant some bamboo. That stuff is wicked. My mom had planted one stalk in the ground and within a few years it had spread to about a 10x10 area. Within 10 years it was out of control.
A neighbor planted some and it cracked their pool.
In this area? I thought it was too cold, even where I am. My sister in WV has a whole hedge of it. She gave me a piece and I planted it by MY pool and it died (of course). I guess that's probably a good thing!

I see in that picture it's in a pot It nearly drove my mother crazy, I think 10 years later she still finds it on occasion.

Crown Vetch -- what you see in the median on I80 --- DON'T do it -- it is a nightmare and will take over your property, your neighbor's property, the state, the country!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you really don't like someone, give them the gift of Houttuynia. It will keep on giving

IS THAT WHY MY GERBERAS DIED LAST SUMMER oh I totally stink at this. So I have to cut the flowers off when they start to curl up???? Do you have to do that to a geranium too? (Yes it died)

I actually prefer grasses & rocks so we should be good at TL. I can't have enough pampas grass

Thanks! They don't get a lot of water, probably just enough so I don't have to water them but too much for a cactus. Will look for those plants at the store (when it gets warmer:( )

That was gonna be my suggestion, but I don't think they like a lot of water. I could be wrong.
Lillies?
Like a calla lily? The only other lily I can think of is a daylily. I'm not a plant person.

OK, maybe ivy to fall over the sides & a small flower in each side, like a gerbera daisy? Maybe?

I have a new little fountain, the two openings next to the place the water pours into are for plants. Covered porch, partial shade. There is a lot of splash over from the fountain so whatever I plant will get a good bit of water. Suggestions? My only guess is that ferns would do well but I really want flowers.

LOL...Don't feel bad, I have a nutso carpenter bee/bumblebee/whateverthehugesuckeris that thinks my antenna topper is a flower or a pretty girl bee or something. It is constantly flying around in this bizarre dance near the topper.
The topper itself has sparkly fluff (no comments , I like it and makes it super easy to spot the car in a parking lot) on it so I can see why the PITA thing thinks it is something pretty, but GEEZ LOUISE, LET ME IN MY CAR ALREADY! I can't avoid the annoying thing either cause if I go one way it follows me and if I go to dart around the front of the car it will dive bomb me that way. Can I borrow your flyswatter Emiliesmom? :X
Oooo baby - you're so fine - never seen one quite like you! Buzzzzz...LOL!
Carpenter bees are the bane of my existence! You CANNOT get rid of them, we used to have a hive in our garage at my old house and pay an exterminator to come EVERY YEAR, and the next year they came right back! Our garage collapsed in the snow and now those suckers have no home - MWA HA HA it was almost worth it! There are two, just two, that live on the porch of the house where I am at now. They come every year. You can hit them with a bat quite successfully, BTW. Bug spray doesn't work, they're the size of a small chihuahua.
