Independent Filmmakers Showcase

On Friday, August 30th, at 7:30, the Reitz will be hosting a showcase of locally produced films, shorts, and videos. With film making on the rise both locally and in much of western PA, this is a great opportunity to experience a growing, creative atmosphere, meet with actors, producers and filmmakers, and enjoy an entertaining screening of the fruits of their labors. The Reitz Theater will present A Nice Family Gathering, sponsored by Kohlhepps True Value and CNB Bank, April 19, 20, 25, 26 and 27 at 8pm, and April 21 at 2pm.
Tickets cost $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens and students, and $5 for children 12 and under.

A Nice Family Gathering is a story about a man who loved his wife so much, he almost told her. It is Thanksgiving and Dad comes back as a ghost with a mission; to tell his wife of 35 years that he loved her, something he neglected to tell her which he was alive. The problem is, she can't hear or see him. The trouble starts when Mom brings a date to dinner.
On April 19th, A Little Taste of Heaven will be joining us from 7pm through 8pm to celebrate opening night, and will be offering theater patrons samples of Maple Bacon Cupcakes.

Open Auditions for 9 To 5 The Musical will be held at the DuBois Are Catholic School on Monday, April 22nd from 6-8pm and Tuesday, April 23rd from 6-8pm.
Please bring a prepared song. An accompanist will be available. 9 To 5 The Musical will be performed at the Reitz Theater in DuBois June 21st through June 29th.
