  1. Just like Santa Claus and The Easter Bunny, He exist,,, and lives,,,,,,in the hearts and minds of children.

Merry Christmas & Happy Easter,  Seeing is believing

                                     :bigfoot:

FINALLY, a picture of bigfoot thats not blurry ! lol.
  2. Turns out the guy was right! There was no stump! Of course, he neglected to mention that either he or some of his cohorts went in and took it out but...well, that's another story. After reading his response to the comments, it should have been easy to spot the hoax. After all, how did he manage to correctly spell "My first sighting from the road" that was labeled on his original pic! HAHAHAHAHA.

There is always the possibility that it was Santa Claus. A five year old told me Santa took the Bigfoot mascaraiding job in the off season when things are slow at the north pole.
  3. the child was of one of the original families of Sabula, the Osbornes. he accompanied his older brothers to the sugar shack that they had to the left of the tunnel enterance. as darkness fell he became scared and told the others that he was going to walk back home. His brothers told Him to stay on the path that he was familiar with to return back to the house. As morning came the boys returned home only to be questioned as to where the youngest son was. They told of the nights events and that he had returned home. A search party was formed by the locals and whent on through the night and again the next morning. On a third search of the wooded area searchers found the body of the child in some bushes off of the path. The body did not show any wounds leaving the locals to believe that the boy froze to death.

Ummm, sorry but my familly never lost anyone as a child and there was only one Osborne Family in Sabula. There were only 2 children and the both lived to a ripe old age. My great great uncle John died in Butler about 80 years old and never had any children, and my great grandmother Mattie lived to be 100 and died in 1976. Dont know where this story came from, but is sounds like another Charlie Moore wives tale.
  4. If you look carefully at the pics you can see trees laying down on the ground to the left and right of the object in question. All that is, is a root ball from an uprooted tree/ or tree's. Pine tree's from the looks of the root balls. Mother nature pulled another hoax on the bigfoot club. I mean,,, really,,, that dont even look kinda Squatchy. Sorry, bigfoot is still the World Champion at Hide & Seek. If you really wanna see a big furry critter , wait til spring and go look under the root balls. You may find a nice big black bear who dug a hole under it to take a nap. The only think moving was the bigfoot hunters car and imagination.

  5. according to Charlie Moore it was settled by the Bundys and the Duttrys and they are allways feudin'. So keep yer head down.:wflag::wflag:

Charlie Moore is wrong. The first settlers in a 10 mile radius of sabula were Henry & Mary Osborne who built a cabin on Hungy hollow road around 1838 - 1840. The second settler was Alonzo & Sarah Dixon shortly after. Their farm is still family owned on Solada road. The 1st clan of Duttrys came several years later and the bundys were way after that. And there was never any fued between the Duttrys and Bundys I ever heard of. Charlie Moore wanted to tell high drama stories that were interesting. His were the "hollywood verson" to keep peoples attention. Unfortunetly, the facts were not always used, or just plain stretched to make things interesting.
