    DuBois Continuum of Care Community announces the kick-off of our 5th Annual Snack Bags of Joy Collection Campaign. The needs of our local DuBois School District students continue to grow, and so does the number of bags needed for this year. We are asking for the community’s help. We want to fill up the requested 260 bags to send home with students who are in need. Please contact Darla at 814.375.5483 or email dkahle@duboisccci.com with your donation. We will gladly pick up all contributions at your convenience. Monetary donations are gladly accepted as well. Thank you for being so considerate in giving to this great need of children and teens within our backyards, neighborhoods, and local communities.

    DuBois Continuum of Care Community is hosting a Fundraising for a Purpose, Designer Bag Raffle with a twist. This raffle event will run from September 8th through September 19th. It's a 12-Days of Back-to-School for Moms Series. Why back to school for Moms? The kids are back to school so now MOMS (grandmas, aunts, sisters, daughters, and so on) can breathe and relax. Why not do something for yourself and something with a purpose? Designer bags include Coach, Michael Kors, Dooney and Burke, Kate Spade, Vera Bradley, Marc Jacobs, and more. All money raised goes directly to the DuBois Continuum of Care Community Foundation Fund, which helps support residents' financial needs as they arise.     In celebration of National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day Friday, August 4th, the DuBois Continuum of Care Community is hosting a Cookie Contest. If your chocolate chip cookies are titled the "BEST," you will win a $50.00 Gift Card and a "Right to Brag" Trophy. The contest entry fee is $5.00, and contest judging tickets are $5.00. All Proceeds go to the Alzheimer's Association DuBois Walk. Tickets and contest registration forms are available at both Dubois Nursing Home and DuBois Village business offices.
