lavender
I had a yellow trillium bloom in my garden this spring. I planted the root but really wasn't expecting it to grow as it isn't a native and wildflowers are often tricky to grow outside their native habitat. It was a nice surprise. The flower was more yellow than my picture. I think I waited a bit too long to photograph it and it was starting to fade. If anyone is interested its story is here http://downtoearthgardenclub.org/2013/05/yellow-trillium-trillium-lutea/ tlakergirl and sapphire

lavender
Thanks, but I think it was more dumb luck than skill. I just hope they multiply. It would be fun to see them started in this area. dyna99
