Petee
My granddaughter works in security, and had a Luna Moth fall in love with her jacket one night. It refused to let go and kept laying eggs, so my granddaughter brought it to me first thing the next morning. I put the moth in a big jug with some sticks and she fired away for a couple of days till her time was done, then she died and I returned her back to the earth. I collected hickory leaves and put some in the jug with the eggs. In about 9 days we had some little cats, and in a few more days, LOTS or little cats which are growing and growing. They will soon overrun the container and need more room to roam. Then it will get to be fun trying to keep up with the food and frass. I will be presenting information about insects and pesticides at the Clear Creek Sustainability Fair on August 17 from 10-2. There will be a lot of presenters on quite a few natural topics. Hopefully I'll have Luna Moth Instars to take along.
