ps Posted October 31, 2007 Share Posted October 31, 2007 ... to Lavender, the Down to Earth Garden Club, and parent volunteers that assisted a kindergarten class at the DuBois Area Catholic School with planting bulbs... The children can't wait until spring to view the "fruits of their labor". This project is an example of how community based organizations can become involved and improve the quality of the education provided to the students. The munchkins are sooooooo cute. I have to pass on to the forum what one of them said about the double bulbs. He said he knew quite a bit about bulbs and that the doubles and triples were huddled up to stay warm until spring. I hope they have a wonderful crop of blooms.
