Shmoopie11
Very cool!!! I've been bugging my husband to take me to the old coke ovens in Tyler. There is a cache in there I am after, but even more so, I just want to experience the history! Question though...is the Catholic church in the picture, the same church building that is still standing?

Bon
Question though...is the Catholic church in the picture, the same church building that is still standing? no, I just asked my MIL. The Catholic church was St Stanislaus Kostka Church. It was on Church st. The church that is at the beginnning of Tyler is the Union Church. Then there was an Othodox chuch near the catholic church.
