crazycat Posted March 10, 2011 Share Posted March 10, 2011 I am looking for a couple of old books written by a lady named Helen Hughs(Hughes) not quite sure of last name spelling. Probably Elk Co. but, maybe in old estate sale stuff or yardsales, I may have luck, but thought I'd try and see if anyone one here might know of a copy The name of the book is "Looking for Ephraim" which is supposedly an account of one of my great great grandfathers trips looking for his grandfather Ephraim Morey,.Or could be Journals & Letters of Pioneers of Elk Co.Moreys came from Mass. and settled in Bennetts valley. I am also related to the Weed family of Weedville name, and am looking for a copy of the Tozier family book (Ridgeway historical society has one)it has info on Frederick Weed family in it.
