We are on the New York border so we get it last when it comes to spring and summer. But its coming!! If you look closely you can see that there are vast parts of the PA Grand Canyon that still don’t have leafbud yet, but some of our other northern hardwoods are out. This is Colton Point State Park and Lookout. My hubby and I went up the other night, sat on the bench, and watched the clouds and shadows move through. With the golden light I figured we’d see more color… I even saw my first warbler up there… a pine warbler. That’s a sure sign of spring. In a few weeks, we’ll be in full bloom! Can’t wait.
