It wasn't necessarily my intent to catch it above the PPG building, but honestly it's always a consideration, and the sky was looking great for just that. Here comes the moon. The clouds were hovering over the skyline as seen from my spot along the West End Bridge. The moon was up but behind the PNC Tower. It peeked just beyond it and then came out fully to play. It was smack dab between the PNC and PPG Towers and on a collision course with the spires of the glass castle. Great. Just a few more minutes. Then....the clouds rolled in. The were lingering the whole time but decided to descend a little bit just to cover the spires and the moon as they intersected. In the end, this isn't what I had in mind tonight.
