The home health building is said to be haunted. I used to work in there and the other girls would tell me stories about radios turning on and off and hearing typing on a keyboard when no one else was around.

I was at my grandma's house having a conversation about men one day and she started talking about "laying down" with a guy. I couldn't help but laugh when I realized what she was talking about. Of course, this is coming from the same woman who was telling people she had to have an autopsy (rather than a biopsy) and around election time talked about the carcases. Gotta love grandma! lol

They sell stuff at Lowes, Wal-Mart, etc. that is supposed to keep unwanted animals away. I'm not sure what it's called but I know I've seen it before.

The vitamin D supplement is a very good idea. I actually was thinking about getting some myself. Also, my doctor told me at one point that the tanning bed does not give you vitamin D. However, I do love going to the tanning bed. I think it's just the warmth and the light that cheers me up when I have the winter blahs. I lay there and think of the beach.
