We had same problem. Went to appliance store ( did not buy at Lowes, Sears ect..) told to put 1/2 cup ammonia and Tide in it, run on hot water cycle and let door open for several hours after each use. Problem solved. They also said we could buy prepared machine cleaner but that was much more expensive
