Marion Leroy Estes, Jr. (age 69)
Marion Leroy Estes, Jr., Age 69 of DuBois, PA died Thursday, June 6, 2024 at Specialty Select Hospital in Johnstown, PA. Born on March 31, 1955 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, he was the son of Marion L. and Doris (Davis) Estes, Sr. his father preceded him in death, his mother survives and lives in Allentown, PA. On August 29, 2009, he married his best friend, Nowanda (McGee) Estes. She survives. Leroy loved music, playing his guitar, and cheesecake. He is survived by his step children, (Jahad Morgan of Virginia, Rickey McGee of Georgia, and Melvina Middleton of DuBois, PA), five step grandchildren (Danasha, Tiara, Aaliyah, Gabriella, and Anthony Middleton, III), three brothers (Gary, Carl, and Roland Estes), and a sister (Dora Underwood). He was preceded in death by his brother (Rodney Estes). Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. Bruce W. Harvey (age 64)
Bruce W. Harvey, Age 64 of Falls Creek, PA died Thursday, June 6, 2024 at his home. Born on February 5, 1960 in Sykesville, PA, he was the son of the late William and Barbara (Smyers) Harvey. On June 21, 1991 he married his wife of 33 years, Kathleen Johnston Harvey. She survives. While attending Jeff Tech, Bruce began working part time at Symco in Sykesville. After graduation, he became a full -time employee and retired from Symco after an over 35-year career as a machinist. Bruce loved the outdoors, camping, and his dogs. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Heidi Harvey of DuBois, PA, and her family, Glenn Deasey, Sarah Hammer, and Eric Boring. He was preceded in death by his brother Keith Harvey. There will be no public visitation. A funeral service will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations can be made to the Gateway Humane Society, P.O. Box 678, Falls Creek, PA 15840.
