Easiest way to freeze peppers

This is my first time ever of freezing them...i've been told to blanch them and i've been told to put them on a foil and stick in the freezer until they freeze?? What is the best way to do them?

I usually just cut mine, take the seeds out, and then stick them in freezer bags.

I do the same as snellma.  If you want to freeze stuffed peppers, you have to cook them first.  I tried freezing them stuffed but not cooked and they were awful.

cut up, freeze on cooking sheet, then vac seal in small bags

Yup - that's what I do!  I love it!  Then anytime I need a few to throw in with steak or whatever I can just grab a handful and stick the bag back in the freezer.

I've never blanched peppers. They would be a mushy mess.
