Guest marbek
I think I have purple crocuses in my front yard. I have never seen them before, but they look like pictures I saw when I searched it. How would they get there when I've never had them before?
lavender
They could have been there but this is the first year that the bulbs were big enough to bloom. As to how they got there I find small bulbs on the grass every year that have washed out of the woods hyacinth bed, so maybe they kind of washed in. Also squirrels eat them so maybe they replanted them from elsewhere the way they do acorns. I suppose they set seed although I have never seen them do it so seeds could have arrived in some manner. The ways of Mother Nature are wondrous to behold. Still haven't had a bloom on mine. I'm going out to divide perennials.
