Petee Posted August 21, 2017 Share Posted August 21, 2017 The Monarch Releases by the BUDS Gardeners will begin today, August 21, at 4 PM, at Charlie's Alternators on Franklin Street in DuBois. Daily releases will occur every day that we have flying Monarchs. 4-4:30. Charlie's is located right near the Cherry Law Offices at the Train Station and across from Kurt Johnson Auto Sales. Bring the kids and yourself to help release the "flying flowers" on their way to Mexico! Petee Posted August 25, 2017 Author Share Posted August 25, 2017 We released 30 Monarchs and two today. You never know how many will emerge at one time. Now we have wild Monarchs showing up at Charlie's so I caught one to tag with my bare hands! I think I better start packing a butterfly net. There will be releases every day from 4 pm to 4:30 pm. No more Monarchs here, and the rest which were raised by Monarch Wranglers in their homes are going to go in the next day or so. It's like when the grandkids finally go home, you're ecstatic about the peace and quiet but then you miss them.
