  4. HOW DO THE RUSSIANS KNOW THAT THE UK BLEW UP THE NORTHSTREAM 2 PIPELENE in PARTNERSHIP WITH THE U.S?

Liz Truss’ Phone ‘Hacked By Russians’ — Media

The security breach was allegedly discovered back in summer when then Foreign Secretary Truss was fighting for the Tory leadership, and prompted former Prime Minister Boris Johnson to order a complete media blackout due to sensitivity of the matter, the Mail on Sunday reported citing unnamed security sources.

The messages obtained by hackers reportedly included Truss’ “highly sensitive discussions with senior international foreign ministers about the war in Ukraine, including detailed discussions about arms shipments,” according to the paper.

While the details of the hack remain unclear, the culprits are believed to have downloaded up to a year’s worth of recordings, including private conversations in which Truss and her political ally Kwasi Kwarteng criticized Johnson. (RT)

  7. One Thing, Jesus Christ
Fr. Ben Daghir Will Post Weekly Articles HERE Every Monday!
Article 4 - October 31th, 2022 by Fr. Ben Daghir

Life is fleeting. As a result, it is foolish to store up possessions, gain a false sense of security, and try to avoid the approaching horizon of death. Instead, we should learn to be rich in what matters to God.

Ecclesiastes states, “Vanity of vanities, says Qoheleth, vanity of vanities! All things are vanity!” (Ecclesiastes 1:2) This passage could also be translated as “pointless, all things are pointless” or “mist, all things are mist” or “wind, all things are wind.” Regardless of the image one uses, the message remains - everything we see is fleeting. In other words, it will all vanish.

Psalm 90 is noteworthy, “the next morning they [humanity] are like the changing grass, which at dawn springs up anew, but by evening wilts and fades” (Psalm 90:6). Again, the message is clear - life is fleeting. Our time on earth will come to an end.

We also hear a parable from Jesus in the Gospel of Luke concerning a rich man who stores up an excessive amount of possessions even to the point of building larger barns to contain all his riches. The man then sits back in a false sense of security and says to himself, “You have so many good things stored up for many years, rest, eat, drink be merry!” Jesus then states startling words, “You fool, this night your life will be demanded of you.” Jesus adds, “Thus it will be for all who store up treasure for themselves but are not rich in what matters to God.”

These scripture readings challenge us to step outside of our false sense of security and accept a basic truth: we will pass from this fleeting world. There will be a moment when we cease to live on this earth. Even more, there will be a moment when this earth also ceases to exist.

St. Augustine, in his magnificent work City of God, articulates the fleetingness of our lives. He writes that from the moment a person is born, a doctor should state “he will not recover.” Augustine’s thought is that death is always before us. We are going to die.

The great temptation, of course, is to be like the man in Jesus’ parable and to store up earthly treasures. In doing so, we can convince ourselves that our earthly possessions will provide a sense of security long into the future as it pushes the horizon of death further away from us. Of course, death is quickly approaching us and no earthly possession can prevent its arrival. We must, then, face death with a renewed perspective of reality and a detachment from all things that will pass from this world. Even better, we should hold firm to that which will remain forever. Later in Luke’s Gospel, Jesus says “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away” (Luke 21:33). We must cling to Him and become rich in faith, hope, and charity - the things that really matter to God.

US Sanctuary States Handing Out Millions In Unemployment Benefits To Illegal Aliens

Illegal aliens are ineligible for federal unemployment benefits, with the Federal Unemployment Tax Act requiring states to take precautions to prohibit such people from filing for these claims.

However, the three sanctuary jurisdictions of the District of Columbia, Colorado, and New York have handed out a combined $2.715 billion in unemployment benefits to illegal aliens, the Oct. 25 investigation report https://irli.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/INVRPT.Unemployment-for-Illegals.Updated.Summary-Bullet_Final.pdf reveals. The annual cost to taxpayers will be “much higher” if anti-border activists have their way, the report warns.

I find some extremely alarming in that they appear to have benefited GREATLY from it over the course of the last year and a half.

ALL of these corporations should be investigated for conflict of interest.

Does the CDC have a board of non-affiliated citizens to audit their funding?
    Where is the oversight?
    Is it an internal committee?
That in and of itself is a conflict of interest.

Reverend Deacon George M. Fatula, Sr., MD, 77, of DuBois, PA passed away on October 28, 2022, at Penn Highlands DuBois.

Born on February 17, 1945, in McKeesport, PA, he was the son of the late George and Ann Fatula.

George was married to Renetta Bertugli on August 22, 1970, in Duquesne, PA.  She preceded him in death by 6 days on October 22, 2022.

George graduated from Duquesne High School in 1963.  He attended Washington and Jefferson College and graduated in 1967 with a degree in Chemistry.  He received his medical degree in 1971 from the University of Pittsburgh.  He completed his residency from 1972-74 at Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh specializing in pediatric and adolescent medicine.

In 1971 George was commissioned as a Reserve Officer in the United States Army.  His duty was deferred through his residency training.  In 1974, as he was about to be activated, he was issued an inactive ready status as he accepted the position to serve the community of DuBois.  He was honorably discharged in 1977 as a Captain.

In 1974 he was recruited by the DuBois and Maple Avenue Hospitals to be the first pediatrician in DuBois.  He opened his first office on July 22, 1974, at the Deposit Bank Building.  He is credited with forming the pediatric unit at the DuBois Hospital and was instrumental in organizing the area’s first neonatal intensive care unit at the Maple Avenue Hospital with his associate Dr. Donald Orris. His practice expanded from DuBois to also include the Punxsutawney and Brookville areas.  One of his many career highlights was being awarded the 2006 “Pediatrician of the Year” from the American Academy of Pediatrics Pennsylvania Chapter.  George continued to practice until September 2018 when his health forced his retirement.

George was ordained to the Diaconate on July 13, 2003, by the Metropolitan Archeparchy of Pittsburgh.  His ordination was a culmination of his devotion to his religious life.  George was a member of the Nativity of the Mother of God Byzantine Catholic Church in DuBois.  He and his wife were lifelong catechists.  George was also best known as a bingo caller at the weekly Nativity Bingo for over 35 years.   In 1984 George was awarded the St. Nicholas Award as the “Byzantine Catholic Man of the Year”.

George was a sports enthusiast.  This was evident by his many endeavors as a parent, coach, and team doctor.  George enjoyed watching and coaching his children and grandchildren through the years.  George was the last manager in DuBois Little League history to lead a Little League (12-year-olds) Baseball team to a state championship in 1991.  He spent decades providing his physician services to the DuBois Area School District on the sidelines at football games, mat side at the wrestling matches, and providing sports physicals.   He personally enjoyed his bowling, golf, and hunting.

Community service and charity were extremely important to George.  He started young and worked to earn his Eagle Scout Award.  This led to a lifetime of service with the Bucktail Council of the Boy Scouts of America.  He earned several awards for this service.  He was a member of the DuBois Lions Club and the Knights of Columbus in his current position as Chaplain.  He and his wife were known for their charity and supported many organizations including Make a Wish and the Rotary Club. His support of the Rotary Club earned him a Paul Harris Fellow award.  The DuBois Area Jaycees honored George for his years of service in the area with the “Distinguished Service Award” in 2008.

George leaves behind 5 children: George, Jr. (Amy) Fatula of DuBois, Renetta Morelli (Neil Keilen) of Frederick, MD, Edward (Angela) Fatula of Ellicott City, MD, Daniel (Crystal) Fatula of DuBois, and Tara (Matthew) McNally of Durham, NC;  9 grandchildren: Kayla (Brandon) Small, Laura Fatula, Keith Fatula, Margaret Fatula, Alexander Fatula, Maya Fatula, Benjamin Fatula, Andrew McNally, and Ryan McNally; a sister, Barbara (Gerald) Longstreth; sisters-in-law, Bonnie (Barry) Mylan and Emilia Bertugli; and a brother-in-law Christopher (Margie) Bertugli.

George was preceded in death by his in-laws, Remo E. and Margaret Bertugli and a brother-in-law Remo C. Bertugli.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from 1:30-4 & 5:30 -8 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.

A Parastas will be prayed on Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m.

A Divine Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at 11 a.m. from the Nativity of the Mother of God Byzantine Catholic Church with Most Reverend Metropolitan Archbishop William C. Skurla as celebrant.
