DuBOIS - DRMC Snore Patrol will meet at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 10, in St. Camillus Hall at DuBois Regional Medical Center West, according to the Sleep Lab at DRMC.
Snore Patrol is for anyone who has sleep apnea. Free to attend, the Sleep Lab experts will be on hand to answer questions and present information.
This quarter, Dr. Nathaniel Cole from Cole Orthodontic Associates will discuss dental devices and their role in the treatment of sleep apnea.

DuBOIS - Healing After Loss, a support group of DuBois Regional Medical Center Hospice, will not meet in September. It will meet, again, in from 4-6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 1st
There is no cost to attend this group that offers education and validation for adults dealing with the loss of a loved one

BROOKVILLE - Management of UTI and Foley Catheters in Elderly Patients will be presented by Dr. Kumaresan Ganabathi, urologist, and Suzanne B. Wortman, BS, Pharm D, BCPS, pharmacist, at Brookville Hospital at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27, in the Brookville Hospital in the Education Conference Center.
During the program, which is free to attend, they will review the latest guidelines for catheter-associated urinary tract infections, asymptomatic bacteriuria and acute uncomplicated cystitis and pyelonephritis in women. They will also discuss how to determine when cultures are necessary, when treatment is appropriate and define the drugs of choice for each of the above and the duration of therapy for each.
Though continuing education credits are being offered for physicians, this program is open to anyone who is interested.

BEGINNER CAMERA INSTRUCTION OFFERED
Stephanie Errigo is offering area residents 50 and older assistance in getting to know their digital cameras. Basic instruction in taking digital photos will be offered at The Clearfield Center for Active Living, 103 North Front Street in Clearfield, on August 22, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The lecture is free, but preregistration is required. Participants are asked to bring their camera and instruction book, if possible, as well as any photos they would like to share. To register, please call the Center at 765-9319.
