  1. thanks lavender, I always like to think what the answer might be and see how close I come to the right one. Sometimes I am so far off it's a wonder I have a green thing living.LOL , Wait till they are done blooming it is.
  2. Right , both bushes one on each side of my fish pond. I bought at the same time from the same greenhouse. I thought maybe something in the soil , the earth around my garden is clay like. But the soil I plant in is a dark heavy top soil with lots of horse manure. I was also wondering if I could split my mums befor they get blooming and thin them out and plant them in more places? or is that something I should wait and do either after they bloom ,later this fall or wait until next spring?
  3. I have two nice size Mums but when I planted them I had one white and one yellow. They both have grown nice and full looking but no they are both white. The same thing happened to my tall pholx. I used to have purple and white and now they are all white. What the hey? Any ideas? Can I get the colors to come back?
  4. Petee my husband wanted to know if that gord plant we got ,ever eats people? Ha Ha, he says it reminds him of that huge plant on Little Plant of Horrors. She is growing the full length and height of our deck and lattice. I think it makes him a little nervous. Every day with this rain it honestly grows out an other foot or so. If it starts yelling feed me , we may have a problem.LOL
  5. Wow , super job, hope you post pics when it does bloom too. Wish I would have got one too. Now does that come back every year/

  7. I'm not much of a baker but I thought I'd put something on here the kids might like to try. Take a spice cake mix, add one can of orange soda, (you can use other flavors too but I've just used orange. ) mix it up, pour into a pam sprayed microwavable cake dish, nuke for 7-8 minutes , test with a toothpick along the middle and sides. Take it out and ice it and you have a quick easy to go cake. I've had to use it a couple of times when I had a late invite to a throw together picnic.
