  1. Since you have experience in the utility business, might you know what the alternative is when Concast fails to install a $6000 paid for installation in the 90 days they said it would take?

I just spoke to Bonnie Kaushik about her internet installation and got some answers for you.

They paid Comcast $4200 last August for an installation within 90 days.  Duda competed the work he was supposed to do in December. Now they are waiting for a "relay to be strung" by Comcast.  Apparently that is the hold up.  She called and was told that they are "on the list" but was given no further info.  Their installation goes under 322, then onto already available poles because the underground route was much more expensive and partly goes through a swamp.

      Ideas?

They didn't attach to the power poles?

Something isn't adding up..   I'm pretty sure there was room on power poles to get close to the farm house.   ...then maybe a buried service drop to the house, which looks to be yard.

Not sure how "swamp" got involved.

About Duda and Comcast - I think Comcast's inhouse employees have to do the splice work to tap into existing lines per their contract.  ....due to having to re-balance the signal or increase output levels(add amplifiers).
