Who would of come up with the money to make the brewery safe and updated? That is the problem. Everyone wants these places saved, but without at least one million dollars they couldn't of even begun to save the brewery. It was structurally unsafe since the 70's and no one came forward with the cash to save it and no one formed a group to save it. When people say why didn't "THEY" do this or that and why didn't "THEY" save it, who do they think "THEY" is? When we used to complain to our boss about why don't "THEY" do this or that in this town, he would say YOU are they, do something about it instead of nothing. I never forgot that and it really made me realize that WE are THEY. Sadly, it's all about money.

Although beautiful, weeping willows can be disastrous to your home. My parents had a large weeping willow quite a distance from their home, but it stilled uprooted their cement sidewalks and the roots got into the sewer system probably 10 times in 30 years. They shed too. If you live on a farm or out in the country where you can plant it away from your home then go for it. In a neighborhood setting or close to your home, forget it, you will be sorry in twenty years. My parents never really did anything special to keep the willow alive. Once they take hold they are very sturdy.

I tried buying the Nick's Sauce in the packets at BiLo today and they told me he sold the recipe to a large company that manufactures it. Thanks for posting this one. It's the best!! Guess I'll have to make it from scratch now.
