Chris Nasuti, the acting city manager, works out of the city building daily. John Suplizio is on paid administrative leave pending charges. He is not working and you know that. Unfortunately, the city has to follow the law in this situation or they could be sued as well.

After reading the Courier article, it appears that Ron Trzyna is very emotionally vested into this. Is this sour grapes for himself being a horrible city manager and quitting on the city?

Or any of his right hand men. All of which are still employed by the city.

Herm wasn’t elected so if the council is also getting bonuses it’s going to get real interesting.

I'm not defending anyone, I'm defending our judicial system. Individuals that know the law much better than you do are put in the positions for a reason. Let the process work itself out. If he's guilty, he deserves to be punished. If he's innocent, people like you deserve to give him an apology.

Is he not allowed to leave his house? He is not on house arrest. All americans are innocent until proven guilty.

Teachers do not get paid for the summer. They only get paid for days they work and the paychecks are spread out over 26 pays.

Yes, I am willing and prepared for it. We have worked hard and have been smart with our income.

Who said the teachers were the ones complaining?

I’m not a teacher but I feel all of them, including in this area deserve to be paid and respected more. People talk about teachers in this area like they’re second class citizens. If you consider the price of daycare in our area ($25 a day on the low end) and on average teachers have 20 students per class, then the starting teacher salary should be approximately $90k per year. Do the math. Not to mention, every teacher has a minimum of a bachelors degree. Most daycares do not require a degree to watch children. So be happy the school taxes are as low as they are right now.

So you're saying teachers in this area are not worth as much as teachers elsewhere?
