Linda L. Miceli (age 82)
Linda L. Miceli, age 82 of DuBois, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 27 2024 at the home of her son in Erie, PA. Linda led a life filled with love, service, and dedication to her family and community. Born on February 25, 1942 in Greenville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Helen (Ross) Sheen. A lifelong nurse, Linda dedicated her career to caring for others, retiring from Christ the King Manor in 2021 after many years of compassionate service. Her commitment to her profession and the well-being of her patients and nurse’s aide students was truly remarkable. Linda was a devoted member of Holy Spirit Parish (Saint Catherine Church), where she served as an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, sharing her faith and kindness with her church family. Her spirituality and service were central to her life, and she found great joy in her church community. In addition to her nursing career and church activities, Linda enjoyed playing mahjong with friends and staying active through various part-time jobs. She worked as a school nurse at DuBois Central Catholic and as a security guard at Treasure Lake, always finding ways to contribute and stay engaged. Linda's warmth, generosity, and dedication will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and service that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to be part of her life. Linda was first married to Bobby Roy Eary, with whom she had three children who survive: Laune Eary, Lisa McCarty, and Delores Miceli. Later, she found love again with Samuel Miceli, and together they had one son, Fr. Ross R. Miceli. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, Gene, Bob, and Kelly Eary. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2024 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 3, 2024 at 10 a.m. from Holy Spirit Roman Catholic Parish at St. Catherine of Siena with Linda’s son, Fr. Ross R. Miceli as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Catherine Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Roman Catholic Church, 2801 W. 6th St., Erie, PA 16505.
