Bon Posted January 2, 2015 Share Posted January 2, 2015 WESTERN PA ARBORIST SHORT COURSE TO BE HELD IN ERIE BEGINNING THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 5Today homeowners and municipalities understand the best tree care comes from knowledgeable arborists. The green industry has responded to this demand for trained professionals by creating certification programs. The International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) certifies thousands of arborists, and these numbers grow yearly.Penn State Extension hosts the Western PA Arborist Short Course beginning on Thursday, February 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and three more sessions at Erie Conservation District, 1927 Wager Rd, Erie, PA 16509. The Arborist Short Course has expert instructors presenting topics designed to increase your working tree knowledge, professional skills, and prepare you for the ISA Certified Arborist exam.All are welcome to this four day-long regional training.
