I see it is near Cherry Tree just off 219. You may want to stop in at Cherry tree or Burnside and see if there are any historical info also The PA Historical and Museum Commission. the census has a book by Richard L., Forstall Population of the States and Counties of the United States: 1790 to 1990, U.S. Bureau of the Census, Washington, DC, 1996.

 

Here is some other info for you.

R.Ewing Stiffler in 1947 wrote a paper or

book:A genealogy listing of 325 descendants

of a pioneer family of Pennsylvania "Dutch"

ancestry of Joel B. Yonker(1809-1879) and

Sarah Stiffler(1813-1893).

 

The Historical Society of Ohio is suspose to

have a copy of it. You may also try the

Historical Society of Blair County,Penna.
