CLAREMONT, Calif. – An undercover operation by Claremont police netted 15 men for offering to pay officers posing as prostitutes for sex, along with an alleged pimp, who offered to teach them the trade, authorities said Saturday. The operation was undertaken Friday in the area of Indian Hill Boulevard and the San Bernardino (10) Freeway, according to Claremont police Sgt. Jeff Ting. The operation also yielded the arrest of 39-year-old Jose Berrios of Lake Elsinore, a registered sex offender for “pimping the three undercover officers,” Ting said. “Berrios told the three undercover officers that he `would teach them to make real money.”‘

▫️Former Savage middle school principal sentenced for soliciting minor
A former Twin Cities middle school principal was sentenced Friday for attempting to solicit prostitution from an undercover cop posing as a 15-year-old girl this spring. Mohamed A. Selim, 38, of Lakeville, was employed as principal of Eagle Ridge Middle School in Savage when he was arrested during a multi-agency sting operation in May. Selim pleaded guilty to a felony prostitution charge in Hennepin County District Court in September. On Friday, in accordance with the plea deal, Judge Julie Allyn sentenced Selim to 30 days in the county workhouse and three years of probation.

▫️Island Lake man facing over a dozen charges for possessing, reproducing child pornography
Ernesto Reynosa-Vasayez, 34, of the 4000 block of Newport Drive in Island Lake, was charged in June with two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault, three counts of criminal sexual assault, traveling to meet a minor, exploitation and grooming. The child sent the man the photos via Snapchat.

INDIANAPOLIS — An Indy man already in jail on drug charges will spend another 12 years in prison after police found a slew of child porn, showing infants as young as 6 months old, on his electronics. 36-year-old Brian Greenlee of Indianapolis was sentenced on Tuesday to 151 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to “transportation of child sexual abuse material.” Greenlee was already in Hendricks County jail on meth charges when police received a tip in Jan. 2021 that he had been trafficking child porn.

▫️Anaheim dance studio owner arrested for alleged sexual assaults of preteens
The owner of an Anaheim dance studio has been arrested after multiple allegations that he sexually assaulted children at the business. Now the Anaheim Police Department is asking other victims to come forward. Richard Hirschl, owner of the Hirschl School of Dance Arts at 1012 N. Tustin Ave. in Anaheim, is accused of assaulting two victims between 2012 and 2017.

RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The man, identified as Austin Edwards, 28, was wanted on a triple homicide charge in Riverside and was considered armed and dangerous.  Officers with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office believe Edwards was involved in an online catfishing scheme that targeted the teenager. In a lawsuit filed in Alameda County Superior Court, a 60-year-old woman from Placerville — identified only as Jane Doe E.D. — alleges that Sidney P. Hall sexually abused her on multiple occasions in 1966 when she was just six years old.

Terrence Donte Clay, 38, of Comstock Park, was stopped and arrested at the south end of the Mackinac Bridge on Nov. 12. The victim was found in the vehicle. Prosecutors said he paid at least one girl to have sex with him and other men.
