4 x 8 bed doing well.  Almost looks like a jungle.  planted taters in a bin about 2 ft high and the plants must be almost 2 ft above that.  cukes just starting  but vines are nice, pumpkins about the same.  tomatoes well every year I say it is the last but every year I put some in and they are looking rather good right now.   zukes have blossoms but haven't seen a fruit yet

I always wait till end of January or into February to make sure sap is down.  i believe it is any month with an "R" to prune or transplant.  Others here are more knowledgeable thanm I though

Yep  been over a year now and it still hurts me everyday'

Knew it had to be done he could not get up one his own or even really hold himself up out in the yard but had hope it would pass but it was a very hard decision for all of us to let him go.  Miss him dearly every single day.  But  I do know I will see him and the others one day.  Second guessing will always make one sick and guilty, I think that is part of why I feel the way I do

I think if you are asking then you kind of know it is time.  We had this happen in our home in January. Even thouhg I did not want to give him up i knew in my heart that he was suffering and we could not keep him here just to avoid the heart ache.  Yes it still hurts to this day for us but he is not hurting and we will see each other again.
