Sounds like a supervisor with a vendetta against another… supervisor or not.. township destroys someone’s property they should be the ones to fix it. Gotta love how the news tries to spin everything. Unfortunately tho can we blame them for taking it? I disagree with it also… but that is something that needs taken up with the state who has allowed this to be a thing for these elected officials

Just saw an abc news 23 vehicle leaving the city building area.

Fire department requested penn dot for road closures due to the amount of time road will be closed.

I didn’t catch the beginning… but sounds like a fatal vehicle accident.

219 is closed in falls creek at the interstate and in brockway at sheetz and at old grade road. PSP wants NO traffic on 219. Will be closed extended period of time.

I haven’t heard anything on the scanner in awhile. Must be out. Did see it was caused by a power line tho. As of around 1am they were still working hot spots. At 6 am all was quiet

Crews are backing out as the fire has jumped a fire line again. Worried about getting trapped

Fire is still burning. Lots of hotspots.. still some flare ups and jumping fire line. Last estimate heard around 6 pm was roughly 1900 acres burned. Atleast 4 plane drops made.

Fire has jumped mountains. 2 mountains now on fire. Fire is working down towards river road. Everytime they think they are starting to get a handle on it another wind gust pushes it more. Red Cross and Jefferson county EMA responding with water for fire companies. for those of you with the scanner radio app you can listen to all of it on the Jefferson/Elk/clearfield feed

Massive wildfire in the sigel/bell town/ loleta area. 30 foot flames pushing through the laurel and pines spawning fire tornados. Forestry working on getting planes for airdrops. Atleast 2 hours to get a plane there
