lavender
Rows go two feet apart and the plants in the row have to go 6 inches apart. You will need to put about 3 seeds at least in each hole. You may have to thin but germination rates can be low and they sometimes get eaten. Here is the approximate number of seeds in a pound of corn. "Standard types of sweet corn, either sugary (su) or sugar enhanced (se), have about 2,000 to 3,000 seeds per pound. Supersweet corn (sh2), generally ranges between 3,000 to 5,000 seeds per pound. Growers typically plant about 24,000 seeds per acre. Most professional seed companies offer corn seed by its seed count, not by weight. This allows the grower to more precisely purchase his or her needs. Somebody else figure it out. Math gives me a headache.
