Bumble bees

well by the pic's posted....mine were carpenter bees......and they were in the ground....a big sucker was hanging out by the old hole from last year......so in went some gas ....then sprayed some expanding foam into the hole......take that 8)

Bees will chew through expanding foam as well as other animals.  Bleach works well to kill them and for those who want an eco friendly method.....vinegar.  Vinegar kills ants too.  

 

I don't know if spraying the deck with a light of vinegar will keep them away but it would be worth trying.  Vinegar kills grass too.

Brake fluid works wonders and is much cheaper than bee spray.  It kills them as soon as it hits them.

Trust me, one little shot of brake cleaner on the eaves of your house isn't going to hurt the environment.
