  1. well if they are the same ones who own the car dealership going into Brockway I will stay far away from there but thanks for the info
  2. Anyone know of any good cars shows this weekend? Also does anyone have an old classic they are selling
  3. I dont have any problems anymore with deer as I have a fence now but here is an article I was reading and thought for those that dont want to build a fence maybe this will work? Has anyone ever tried this? Let us know. **************************************************************** If your prized garden is being overtaken by pesky animals like deer, rabbits, and squirrels, don
  4. My wife just got some of that also on Friday. I dont have time to brush mine once let alone twice a day. lol
  5. I have greenies to that I have used just not religiously. With three dogs it was to expensive. The parsley is cheaper by far
  6. I add parsley I buy in the store (Mccormicks I believe in a big container) to their dry dog food. I read about it a month or so ago and tried it and it has helped. The one dog I have has had bad breath for years. Nice pink gums etc but bad stinky breath LOL You could smell it across the room. Not anymore though.
  7. A couple of mine do. I add parsley to their food and it helps tremendously. I have a big container out by their food to add. Try it you wont be disappointed.
  8. I just covered the one garden in paper and put mushroom compost on most of it. Finaly had a chance to do it. looks like the bigger garden will have to wait a while. I got a few plants already lettuce, cabbage, celery, onions and I also got some Stevia plants.
  9. nope you weren't. I was having a bit of fun but put it in the wrong forum and should have used a bit more humor to separate it. I laughed when I saw it on facebook but sometimes my humor doesn't get conveyed the right way. I was tired of the political stuff and figured I'd try some humor. . I should try to sleep before I post again also LOL I had a few quick turnover days at work plus 3 hour total drive time up and back. First two days left home at 5pm and got home at 8:30am then turned around on second day and left again at 1pm got home at 12:30 am and back driving again at 5am and then back home by 5pm. Needless to say at lunch yesterday anything seemed funny to me so I figured I would try and post something funny as I was gobbling down a quick late lunch LOL Anyway you are right it is the flowers on the plants. I plant over a hundred pepper plants a year. One year it was 147 lol I had plants everywhere on my deck on the railings on the steps going down. They are my favorite plant to watch grow. I don't know why but they just seem so hearty no matter the conditions.
  10. hence the fun guess I should have put this in the jokes and games section instead. I was sure Petee would be the first to correct me.
  11. I just plant them right along side my peppers and tomatoes.
  12. I still have pepper seeds from a few years ago. I am sure they will grow. I will have to buy the others. I would like to try onions and celery from seed. I have had very good luck with celery I bought and planted. They always come up great. I was surprised to talk to people and they never heard of anyone growing celery in there garden. They are sensitive to heat and cold. I don't wrap the bottoms in rubber bands or use the bottom of milk cartons to get the white effect on them which basically does nothing except turn the bottom white and maybe a little more tender and less vitamins from i have read in the past.
  13. Thats pretty good if they are still laying an egg a day. In the winter if you add more protein to their diet and even sprinkle cayenne pepper on their meals will help enhance their laying. Artificial light also as they like about 14 hours of light a day. You should not have to do anything to increase as it seems they already are still producing. I probably wouldn't try anythng as the birds do need a rest and winter is a good time for them to get it. I have read quite a bit on chickens LOL I read just about whatever I can on most subjects. Now I can add spouted wheat to my list
  14. hmmmm I may evehn be able to make that. I might give that a try.

How about just a ramp in general like they have at the dog wash. Could possible build one out of treated lumber and use some outdoor carpet on it. At the end just screw on a piece of angle iron or something similar to support the end on the vehicle. A 4 wheeler ramp would work good also just add some plywood and carpet. Now if you knew a welder who could cut it in sections and weld some hinges on it to fold up to take it with you.
