  1. I certainly hope someday the Wigwam can be brought back to it's original glory.
  2. I remember at Christmas, they handed out a treat, Santa came out on the stage and gave away a bicycle, I am sure there where other gifts as well, but that one stands out to me.
  3. Columbia Theater was the name as I remember as well.
  4. I will certainly be there, as I have sent the details to you as well Big TO
  5. Please keep us all updated on any new details.
  6. Yes Liquid Fence works for Deer & Rabbits, just looked at my bottle.
  7. Thank You Cheryl, this answers quite a few of my questions I have had. Still something needs to be done and I will work with whoever to get it done, as I believe as quite a few do that this cemetary needs our attention.
  8. I agree with you 100% on this one. Our city should be ashamed that this has happened. The history here is amazing, and to ignore it is very sad.
  9. Thank You for sharing your family's history and all the photo's everyone. I love it.
  10. Thank You for posting about the ceremony, I didn't know that and would love to attend.
  11. If this is the case that is sad we had to loose that tree then. South Main Steet is so nice with them but I am sure the utility companies don't see it like that.
  12. Just curious why the local VFW, whose name is James Patterson doesn't get involved since the club is named after this man? Also what is his history, what can anyone tell me about him?
  13. Just maybe with the new business coming to the old Brewery location perhaps it needed widening then.
  14. The house is beautiful, certainly hope it never comes down.
  15. It was something, I loved it, that is all we had for so many years. Sad that it is gone now. I think the last we paid was 75 cents, remember the posters being posted along the side of the ticket window. We would always go for pizza next door when we went to the movies.
  16. I was there today, and did clean up around the Child Mouselium, I got the gate closed, and cleaned up the sidewalk area. I was truly amazed at the history of this cemetary, I had no idea. I will do what I can because of my work schedule. I do wan to add that everything looked so nice, hats off to the man that has been cutting the grass for years, the boyscouts, the volunteers from JC of Latter Day Saints and the young man who did the eagle scout project. You are all my HERO'S for what you have done to make it look like it does, very nice. Thank You for caring.
  17. The front facing main street was how you entered the theatre, unfortunately I have no photo's but if you remember the liguor store was on the right and Jerry's pizza shop was next door. The rear doors were never used to my knowledge. I sure there are people out there with photo's good luck.
  18. I am so fascinated with the history of this home.
  19. Bay Leaves, they hate it. I did spray my foundation and usually do it once warm weather starts, probably May. This usually does the trick.
  20. mine are poking up as well, I have saw them do this before, and they will be alright.
  21. I would love to volunteer and help out what I could. My great uncle is buried there.
