Excitement about two bald eagles has increased to a fever pitch around central Pennsylvania, as people observe the Pennsylvania Game Commission's bald eagle camera in York County. The live-streaming camera was installed this year in a tree near Codorus State Park, just outside Hanover.

Since then, two eggs have appeared in the nest, and people have watched and commented on the eagles' behavior.

Travis Lau, press secretary for the Game Commission and a Penn Township resident, has had the local eagles nest on his radar for several years. The nest has overlooked Lake Marburg for more than a decade.

  2. we usually have woodpeckers in our yard because of the apple tree and the suet cakes I hang out. Just a little bit ago, I had both a downy & hairy woodpecker right by the deck!!  :yahoo:

I got pics of it, but can't upload them because LC broke my cable and the plug on the side of the camera. :tantrum:

Baaaaad LC!!!!!  She's depriving us of cool pics!!!    :tapfoot:

  3. It looks like wiener dog is not too pleased with his boots.  My wife bought our dog a sweater today, he's not too fond of it either.. lol

He definitely needs boots to complete this look!  I think I know where he can get a pair.....uhh..... X2 and I'm pretty sure Wiener Dog would even let him keep them (just don't tell Bon because I'm sure Wiener will have another VERY LOGICAL explanation for the missing boots).  ;)

  4. I have never said anything about this, but now I will ... my pic of Big Boy I took last year is in the 2015 Clearfield County Area Agency On Aging calendar!!! I was surprised to see my pic was picked & it's for the month of August, that's my birth month.

Congrats Bon!!!! :cheer:  That's an awesome pic of Big Boy or should I say "Mr. August"??  ;)

  5. No, not really ... I've been around them the majority of my life.

lol, maybe they were checking to see if my llama would have enough to eat around here.

Once upon a time, a neighbor's cows got loose and ended up in my yard.  I walked by the window, thinking....deer.....and then did a double take  :o !!  NEVER look out the window before coffee!!!  LOL

The llama better get 'dibs' on the free food soon or you'll be needing to find a source for lama food!!!
