  1. Tried the benadryl. Didn't really seem to help. I only gave him 1/2 since he only weighs 13 lbs. He has a vet appt on Wednesday, so I will ask them too. Thanks!!
  2. My little guy (Maltese) has been scratching like crazy. I can't find any fleas. Someone suggested it may be a food/gluten allergy. He eats Pedigree. Can anyone recommend a food to try that does not have gluten? I feel so bad for him!
  3. I need help with a peace Lily. It was beautiful but started dying. We transplanted it but now it's worse. I feel bad because my friends are work got it for me two years ago when my mom passed. Any suggestions?
  4. Just think how big that elk looks to wiener dog!!! She probably thinks, "oh, hell no!"
  5. BF's son did not have a good night. Some idiot (who I won't name) took out the whole side of his car and shifted the rear end. He is leading the points and now they will have to scramble all week trying to get the car back together. The driver that hit him is known for crap like this. It is not "just racing." He doesn't care who he hits. Can't wait til he gets what's coming to him. Karma is a $itch.
  6. I walk by there at lunch time. It is a very peaceful and pretty place. Thank you.
  7. So cute! Did you see Momma too?
  8. Prayers to her children and family. So sad.
  9. Maybe it's a Mrs. When we had our big toad there were also a bunch of teeny ones around too.
  10. We had a big one just like that in our yard a couple of years ago. Persistent bugger. He would be down by our fire pit when we were all sitting outside so the SIL would move him to the garden about 30 feet away. Within a half hour, there he was again! Maybe he was cold, but I didn't want him to get squished. He would also sit on our sidewalk and refuse to move even if we nudged him with the toe of a shoe!
  11. One of ours is a stray that adopted us. The other is a rescue that was abused. They definitely have issues, but I can't imagine what they went through before we got them. They are really loved (spoiled) now. I would take more if we could, but not in the budget.
  12. If you have never seen this display, you need to go!! It is really neat!
  13. Wonder what the swing did to make him mad?
  14. Don't care what you're wearing if you're feeling goooood.
  15. Depends on the darkness of the chocolate and the size of the dog. We had a collie/shepard that would steal entire 1 lb boxes of candy and it didn't hurt him one bit. But, if it was darker chocolate, like baking chocolate, or if he had been a lot smaller, it could have been bad.

    Help!

You should put a topical treatment on year round, not just summer. We found that Vectra works the best for us.
  17. I made one tonight with grilled chicken, bacon, mozz cheese, and ranch dressing on crescent roll dough. Really good! Also made steak, cheese, and ranch and a blueberry one for dessert. Those and a couple of glasses of wine and I am sleeping good tonight.
  18. I was looking for the food forum and must have missed it. Cheesesteak sounds yummy.
  19. Those are some good recipes! I think we will do potatoes, cheese, and onions. Pierogies. My daughter has made these before and says they are really good. I am getting hungry!!!!
  20. My daughter is having friends over for a mountain pie party tonight? What are your favorites? We went to one 2 weeks ago and I made chicken fajita and cheese. Also hamburger, cheese, ketchup, and mayo. Oh, yeah, and peach. Love me some mountain pies!!!!
  21. I have both of the pampered chef ones. Like the old one better...have not had a problem with it.
  22. I have the BEST ice cream scooper. It has gel in the handle that gets warm from your hand. I have never had a trouble scooping ice cream. You can't put it in the dishwasher, though. BF ruined one by doing this, so I bought another. I am buying at least 3 for Christmas gifts this year. (Got it from the home party cooking utensil catalog)
