  1. What a beautiful collection. Thanks for posting.
  2. Salutes to all of you for the efforts to remake this sacred place of hallowed ground. Especially for bringing it back from the wreck that it was at one time.
  3. Thanks for all your group does to being life and beauty to the area. Nice going!
  4. Thanks again mr.D. We will be looking forward to this. Not many spots around with this kind of beauty to behold.
  5. Thanks mr.d. This place is one of such beauty in the area. Hard to find a spot like that anywhere else. What work and care they must put into that place to make it such a garden spot to behold.
  6. We had Lhasa Apsos for years. First a female, then after her time passed, two sibling males. Very smart and loving, all of them. One of the brothers had a special game with the mailman. Scruffy knew about what time Dave would come with the mail, and just had to get to the back porch in time. So Dave would "hand" the mail over the back gate to Scruffy. When Dave got transferred, Scruff still wanted to go and meet him, we'd have to take him to the porch and say "No Dave today." Scruff would lower his head and turn for the door to come back in, he actually missed seeing his buddy the mailman. All of these Lhasas had very special traits of their own, and they got along very well with cats in the household. With such fast-growing long hair, they needed frequent grooming, but it was worth it because they were just beautiful dogs. Best of luck!
  7. Thanks so much for sharing this. I can smell the pie!
  8. One of the most beautiful places in the area. What a surprise. Glad it is there to visit. Hope the weather is favourable.
  9. Correction, sez wife. Not where the hardware is, but on the now-vacant lot, southwest corner of Main & Fourth Streets. Where the old Cameron building used to be. :-/
  10. Here is a brief bit of history from Reynoldsville: On Main street where the hardware is now located used to be a hotel called the Hotel Bellknapp. The local Hist. Soc. has the register book from this hotel and the interesting entry occured around 1882. There was a guest named "U.S. Grant" who signed in with a hometown of Washington DC. This happened on two occasions. It has been said that he liked to come up this way for trout fishing.
  11. Can anyone tell me what it is about this screen where all the text and everything goes waaaay over and off the charts. It is really hard to read moving back and forth. Thanks so much for the interesting material. And the wonderful job of bringing back such a hallowed area.
  12. I think this goes way back: Pshaw And from the 60's or 70's: Copasetic Have you heard these?
