  3. Who's in the News? ▫️Hollywood man charged with sexual abuse of children, animals HOLLYWOOD - Residents were stunned and sickened on Sunday after learning about the crimes one of their neighbors is accused of committing. "I want him put away, fast," said one neighbor, who wished to remain anonymous. According to court records, 34-year-old Michael Eisner was arrested Thursday. He is facing several disturbing charges, including five charges related to sex abuse of children and one charge related to sex abuse of an animal. "I knew him when he turned like maybe 10, 12, so I knew him for a while, I never knew that he would be one of those predators," said another neighbor. According to court documents, Eisner is accused of trying to contact children online in a sexual manner. What makes the charges even more shocking to the people in this neighborhood, is that Apollo Middle School is just feet away from where Eisner lives. https://www.cbsnews.com/miami/news/hollywood-man-charged-with-sexual-abuse-of-children-animals/ ▫️High Point man facing dozens of additional sex crime charges after prior human trafficking arrest HIGH POINT, N.C. — A man who had already been charged with several sex crimes in the Piedmont Triad is facing dozens more charges. Court records show that Joseph Dominick Santora, 43, is now facing over 40 new charges after his initial arrest at the end of April. On Friday, the High Point Police Department filed 21 counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, 12 counts of first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and 13 counts of indecent liberties with a minor. Santora was charged with first-degree forcible rape, human trafficking of a child and sexual servitude of a child in April after warrants alleged he raped a 16-year-old girl and held her in sexual servitude. https://myfox8.com/news/north-carolina/high-point/high-point-man-facing-dozens-of-additional-sex-crime-charges-after-prior-human-trafficking-arrest/ (VIDEO) ▫️Knoxville man charged with sexual abuse A Knoxville man is behind bars after being charged with sexually abusing a child at his home. According to court records, Joel S. Gullion, 48, of Knoxville, is charged with second-degree sexual abuse, a Class B felony. The criminal complaint says the alleged abuse happened in February 2021 with a child under the age of 8. Gullion is accused of forcing the child to touch his genitals. The criminal complaint says there is video evidence of the encounter and that Gullion admitted to the actions in an interview with law enforcement last week. https://www.kcci.com/article/joel-gullion-knoxville-sexual-abuse-charges/60917697 ▫️‘Predator’ Uncle Sexually Abuses Nephew After Losing Mom to Cancer Officials announced last week that a Georgia man was sentenced to life in prison for sexually abusing his nephew after the boy’s mother died of cancer in 2021. Fetch Your News reported that Brandon Bennett, 39, moved in with his terminally ill sister in 2021 to help care for her three children. The woman’s dying wish was for Bennett to continue caring for her children, to which Bennett agreed. Bennett’s sister died later that year. In February 2022, one of the children told a family friend that Bennett had molested him as he slept and repeatedly solicited him for sex. Bennett was also accused of soliciting some of his nephew’s friends, according to Fetch Your News. Fort Oglethorpe police recovered evidence of the abuse from Bennett and the victim’s phones — including messages in which Bennett used food and other privileges for sex. Child pornography was also found in Bennett’s phone, according to the Chatanooga Times Free Press. https://www.crimeonline.com/2024/05/27/predator-uncle-sexually-abuses-nephew-after-losing-mom-to-cancer/ ▫️Kidnapping suspect arrested after lengthy chase from Inland Empire to San Diego County A man accused of kidnapping a woman and holding her against her will for two weeks was arrested Saturday following a lengthy chase across Southern California. ▫️Southern California man arrested for using Reddit to solicit sex with minor A 34-year-old man from Orange County is facing 25 years to life in prison after his arrest last week for reportedly using the social media platform Reddit to solicit sex with what he thought was a 13-year-old girl, but was in fact an undercover law enforcement officer, authorities announced earlier this month. In January and February 2023, San Juan Capistrano resident Shaw Warrington attempted to use Reddit to solicit sex from minors in Orange County, according to an indictment unsealed on May 23, 2024. “An undercover law enforcement official responded to Warrington’s requests and eventually scheduled a meeting at a Newport Beach shopping center, where Warrington believed he would engage in criminal sexual activity,” a news release from U.S. Attorney’s Central District of California Office stated. https://ktla.com/news/local-news/southern-california-man-arrested-for-using-reddit-to-solicit-sex-with-minor/ ▫️Miami-Dade Plea Deal Controversy, 90-Year-Old Man Accused of Child Sex Crimes May Avoid Registry A plea deal is stirring controversy in Miami-Dade, where a 90-year-old man accused of child sex crimes may avoid being listed on the Florida sex offender registry if the proposal is accepted. Keisha Etienne, the survivor of these alleged crimes, is publicly opposing the deal with the support of her attorney, in hopes that the court will reject the agreement. According to CBS News Miami, Etienne entrusted Albert Bassett, whom she asked to become a father figure in a letter at a young age, but says the help he provided turned into years of sexual abuse beginning when she was just nine years old. "I just want to be heard," Etienne said, expressing her disbelief at the leniency of the plea deal crafted by the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office. Her lawyer, Aaron Karger, indicated that financial assistance Bassett gave Etienne throughout her youth, could, in part, explain the proposed agreement. https://hoodline.com/2024/05/miami-dade-plea-deal-controversy-90-year-old-man-accused-of-child-sex-crimes-may-avoid-registry/ ▫️Austin man convicted for years of child sex abuse AUSTIN, Minn. – A jury has found a Mower County man guilty of sexually abusing a child for years. Peter Mee, 33 of Austin, has been convicted of five counts of criminal sexual conduct. Mee was arrested in August 2021 and accused of sexually abusing a child under the age of 13. Investigators say the abuse started in July 2017 and continued up until Mee’s arrest. A sentencing hearing is now scheduled for July 25. https://www.kimt.com/news/crime/austin-man-convicted-for-years-of-child-sex-abuse/article_3227c816-1c1f-11ef-94e2-c72c3700f1fb.html ▫️Man who ran before trial pleads guilty to child sex abuse A Cherryville man accused of molesting children has pleaded guilty. Ronald Lee Burns was sentenced to 10 to 17 years in prison for attempted statutory sexual offense with a child by an adult and multiple counts of indecent liberties with a child. Once released, he will serve three years of probation and be added to the Sex Offender Registry for the rest of his life including satellite-based monitoring. Burns, now 68, was first arrested in Cleveland County in October of 2016. https://www.shelbystar.com/story/news/crime/2024/05/28/man-who-ran-before-trial-pleads-guilty-to-child-sex-abuse/73836320007/ ▫️Alexandria man gets 8 months for sexually abusing young child At his sentencing hearing on May 23 in Loudoun Circuit Court, 26-year-old Ryan Timothy Ferguson faced prison time for sexual abusing a young child when Ferguson was 13 and 14. He would have faced a maximum of 30 days in jail if he was tried then in juvenile court. https://www.loudountimes.com/0local-or-not/1local/alexandria-man-gets-8-months-for-sexually-abusing-young-child/article_381aead2-1959-11ef-9851-73e3ecf5c554.html ▫️Former Hudson Clothing Store Manager Who Shared Child Porn Gets 10 Years, No Early Release A former clothing store manager from Jersey City who shared videos of infant and toddler pornography was sentenced to a plea-bargained 10 years in federal prison, after which he's expected to be deported. Ramy Mercado, 29, transmitted more than 20 child sex abuse videos and expressed a "desire for sexual encounters with young children," U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger said. Mercado took a deal from the government rather than risk the potential outcome of a jury trial. He pleaded guilty to child porn possession, as well as to naturalization fraud, in exchange for leniency at sentencing. https://dailyvoice.com/new-jersey/hudson/former-hudson-clothing-store-manager-who-shared-child-porn-gets-10-years-no-early-release/ ▫️Pevely man sentenced to 40 years for sexually abusing child Matthew Gamel, 36, of Pevely has been sentenced to 40 years in prison for recording sexual abuse of a child and possessing child pornography. Pitlyk sentenced Gamel on Wednesday, May 22, in the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of Missouri. 13. Hey Lib's, did you see and hear your own special old privileged white guy telling you what you need to think and know??? Among many other things, he told you that if Trump gets elected, he would never leave office again. Don't you people ever get tired of people from your own party talking down their nose at you because they think you are just plain stupid and ain't able to think on your own. Every once in a while I get to feeling a little bit of pity for you liberals but then this liberal bullsh1t shows up. POOF there goes the pity. You all deserve all you get.
  14. Its a one of a kind Mom and Pop outside eatery in DuBois located on DuBois Street across from Rossi Jewelers. Its near ACE Hardware and Calliari's. They have tons of flavors of hard ice cream, sundaes, etc., and all the traditional fast food burgers, fries, dogs, chicken salads, etc.
  15. Sad to say, I saw mowed grass on the road over the weekend. I don't know if the homeowner knew the dangers of leaving it there or that they just didn't care. It upset me. My son recently moved into his new home and has started his grass mowing for the season. First thing my hubby told him about was making sure all the grass was blown into the yard and not the road.
  16. Over the Top can be busy at times. I love their deep fried hotdog with sauce and onions. They also have great pizza burgers. Not meaning to change the subject, but I had to put a plug in for the food there.

The whistleblowers, African American veterans of the United States Air Force and devout Christians, are alleging severe misconduct by Children's National Hospital in Washington, D.C. regarding their child—claims outlined in their lawsuit and reported by the Epoch Times. The hospital, a recipient of significant federal research funding, is accused of denying the whistleblowers access to their autistic-presenting child, prescribing a gender transition without the consent of the parents, and suggesting a change in the family’s religious beliefs was necessary to regain custody of their child. This case raises deep concerns about the potential misuse of federal funds from agencies such as the National Institute of Health, which provides over 60% of the hospital’s research funding. Children's National Hospital's Gender Development Program is alleged to be pushing a specific gender ideology rather than offering a balanced and ethical healthcare perspective. This is not merely about medical care but about advocating for ideologies that may not align with scientifically balanced care and parental choice. https://ktla.com/business/press-releases/ein-presswire/714545030/parents-suing-childrens-national-hospital-for-transitioning-and-trafficking-their-son-take-their-plight-to-congress/ ▫️Cullman County Human Trafficking Task Force looks to educate community CULLMAN, Ala. – The Cullman County Human Trafficking Task Force met Wednesday, May 22, at the Cullman County Sheriff’s Office Training Center.
