Petee
I was shocked to see the Chinese Tree Peony blooming so early, and then it got all covered by snow that made it look silver. I doubt the picture did it justice. Anyone know why my Microsoft Photo Editor won't open? This is full size because I can't resize it!
Administrators Pompeii Posted May 14, 2010 Administrators Share Posted May 14, 2010 These are always located in the "Forum Rules & Tips" Category for easy resizing on-line. Here are 10 very good image resizers that are FREE and easy to use. You want to resize most normal photos to 500 to 600 pixels width. The Photos that are larger in height than width you want to keep them around 300 - 350 pixels width. http://www.shrinkpictures.com/ http://www.resize2mail.com/ http://www.picresize.com/ http://online-image-resize.kategorie.cz/ http://www.resizr.com/ http://snipshot.com/ http://resizr.lord-lance.com/ http://www.photosize.com/ http://quickthumbnail.com/ http://www.imageutils.com/

Cardinal Fan
My peony plants haven't even started to bloom. Treasure Lake is always a couple weeks behind when it comes to mother nature. It must be the 10 degree difference in the weather and the elevation.
Petee
The Chinese Tree Peony usually doesn't bloom till the beginning of June. Everything seems to be blooming several weeks ahead of time this year. It's nice but freaky!
Harvey Mungaknuts
Looks like frost got all our Rose of Sharon's. Not seeing any leaves coming out on the shag bark hickory or black walnut yet either
Petee
It takes them a while to get the leaves going again but they should come back.

Staci
Here is my clematis this year, surprised the frost didn't get it.. Beautiful Missy. I had 3 or 4 clematis' at my last house. Either I left them behind or they didn't tolerate the move, not sure which. :'( Below is a photo of my azalea. I hope that it will fill out someday. The next 2 photos are of the azalea at my sister's old place. That bush is so beautifully shaped and no on has ever touched it. No pruning or anything. The last 2 photos are of my magnolia that bloomed earlier this spring. I don't understand why it can't have flowers and leaves at the same time. I think it would look much prettier that way. And you are right why can't they have flowers and leaves at the same time!!!
Staci
Staci I love that one at your sisters old place I told your gram it was beautiful and sooooo full... Missy, Gram told me that you liked it. I was reading up on how to propogate them. Most sites say that it is easy. I am planning on trying for Gram, my mom and I. If I get to it, I will do one for you too.
