Tiramisu
This is the first time I ever heard of this. I wonder why nobody talks about it?

Tommyboy
The southern end of Jared Street. The building is still there.
Ignatius
I believe that may be the old Larkin building. I toured it last spring, in consideration of buying the site. That old building has some great bones and it would be a shame for it to wither away empty (it was not suitable for my business).
leahbarn
I have been told that Du Bois made all kind of things and was a city that could survive by itself. Had the icecream, beer, battery, all kinds of factories. It also had a time you could quit a job one day and be working at another the next. Would love to see that kind of place here once in my lifetime.
SCHMIDT
The building in this picture currently sits behind the Fourth Ward Fire Company which is on South Brady Street, the building itself is on S. Jared Street and used to be Tri County Supply and was the Fourth Ward fire hall at one time before they built the new on on South Brady St. !! Spent many a days there with my dad!!!!
