  3. A dollar box was the best thing to end the night. No matter how bad my gut would hurt after eating Frank's I'd still go back for more. Even cold Frank's the next day was great. I'm hoping they open up soon. I don't want a replacement Frank's I want the real deal...

    Today's Religion

That picture of the Bible depicts faith, not religion. My faith can never be made modern nor old fashioned. It just is. That's the beauty of faith, you don't need religion to have it.

  5. Do u want more thumbs down? Then u get banned or ur content will need approved before its posted. Not a fun thing trying to have freedom of speech and ur opinions are monitored. I'd be surprised if this even makes it on. Just about finished with constantly getting shoved away for my opinions just because one person gets their feelings hurt. But they are free to say whatever they want.

  8. You are confused. It's your opinion that it tastes like "old school pizza". It is my opinion that it tastes like Frank's..i.e. bad. I don't/won't eat either. I never insinuated or said that Capt'n Blues was "great" or anything close to that. I merely informed others that there is another option.

    Murrays Ford

A Ford Dealership has an obligation to perform warranty work on ANY Ford product no matter where it was purchased. That is how you get and keep local and loyal customers.

T That's fine if you understand local people take care of loyal customers first. If you travel to save money be prepared to travel for service, just saying.

    Murrays Ford

A lot of people buy things somewhere else then cry foul when a local business doesn't jump all over repairing their purchase. I'm not just talking about cars. People buy cheaper appliances from big box stores and don't understand why some of the local stores don't run right out and fix their stuff. The locals have their loyal customers to attend to first!

    Murrays Ford

I called one time to set up an appointment for my car for a warranty issue. This was at least 5 or 6 years ago. They refused because my car wasn't purchased there. First I called Ford and lodged a complaint and they contacted another dealer for me. That is where my business went from then on.

  22. Maybe the Restaurant Revitalization Fund will get more funds and Franks Pizza can get a cash infusion. According to the Small Business Administration, 9,944 Pennsylvania businesses applied for close to $2.5 billion in grants, but only 3,530 received them, a payout totaling about $949 million for an average grant of about $269,000. The Big Burrito restaurant group received the maximum award of $10 million, which elicited some blowback on social media, but company president Bill Fuller was quick to point out that the money offset losses at 12 Mad Mex locations, six boutique restaurants and a catering division. The company employs roughly 1,000 statewide. Armstrong Foods Inc. of Butler County was awarded nearly $3.6 million for a Ponderosa Steakhouse at the Clearview Mall. https://www.post-gazette.com/life/dining/2021/07/18/When-we-lose-this-we-re-done-Federal-restaurant-relief-helps-some-but-not-all-weather-Covid-aftermath/stories/202107180170

  34. Frank’s Pizza in DuBois closed until further notice Posted on July 17, 2021 by wcednews DuBois, PA – A friendly restaurant staple in DuBois, Frank’s Pizza on West Long Avenue, is closing down until further notice. Frank’s was reportedly short staffed for the past 18 months. We’re awaiting official announcements, but owner Jodi Shaffer made a Facebook post thanking the staff and saying that Frank’s is closed until further notice due to the staffing situation. Frank’s Pizza has been a part of the DuBois community for 64 years, when it was started by Francis Kupetz in 1957. It changed hands multiple times since then, including when Shaffer’s parents, Dick and Linda, bought the business in 1987 and when it was transferred to Jodi Shaffer herself in 2001. Many locals have loved Frank’s Pizza, and some who have moved away from DuBois say they always make a point to grab a slice of Frank’s when they come back to visit.

  36. I've said this before...Frank's Pizza is terrible pizza. No loss here. But, if you're a fan, Capt'n Blues in Reynoldsville is the EXACT same thing. The guy used to own Frank's and uses the original recipe. Can go get your fix there.
