  1. The term refers to a community where residents can reach everyday essentials —like work, school and shops — by walking, biking or taking public transportation in 15 minutes or less. The concept is meant to support public and environmental health and improve accessibility and community while decreasing reliance on cars.
  2. Just came home from a very inspirational speech by the charismatic Ron DeSantis, who gave a speech in Venice, Florida in support of his new book, and seemed to me a great candidate to replace Joe Biden. Looking around the audience, there were people with tears in their eyes as he spoke. Quite a moving experience and being close to him as he spoke. Photo taken by me at the speech:
  3. Is there a doctor in the house???
  4. Biden will be "re-installed" no doubt....assuming he makes it that long and doesn't fall down the Air Force One passenger ramp.
  5. As a footnote to your comment...Biden, like Fetterman, was "installed". Not for the betterment of the whole...but for the betterment for those who installed them.
  6. There's a large population of Ukrainians here in Sarasota County and I've never seen one Ukrainian flag flown. This guy is so full of it that it's flowing out his nose and mouth. What a maroon!!!
  7. A person has to wonder if some of these illegals that are swarming across our borders are being sent by hostile governments intent on doing harm to our infrastructure and/or transportation systems...or more. It's no longer coincidental in my opinion.
  8. Wonder if that's exactly what prompted the shooting. Wonder if we'll ever get the details about what started it?
  9. Shooter was a Curwensville police officer/Deputy Sheriff. A bit too much alcohol, maybe?
  10. "I'll give you half a billion dollars....in turn, you give me back 10% and you got a deal, ok? Kiss-kiss..Love-love!"--Dementia Joe Biden
  11. Biden is in Ukraine to protect his investments...never mind the 10% for the Big Guy. Should have sent Kammie over with a plane full of word salad.
  12. The Mayor of East Palestine said he doesn't want Pete there, he would cause more chaos and add to the already circus atmosphere. I tend to agree
  13. When I read/hear stories like this makes me love my dog even more.
  14. John Fetterman checked into the hospital the 2nd time to receive treatment for severe depression. That and a host of other ailments, too.
  15. The poster of Raquel Welch in the Shawshank Redemption will forever be blazened in my mind.
  16. I'm beginning to think these catastrophes are not coincidental. Dementia Joe's idea of diverting attention away from his overwhelming troubles.
  17. Fetterman has severe hearing disability as causing him to hear the voice of the teacher from the "Peanuts" cartoon when listening to people speak causing him to have cognitive issues, including a problem with auditory processing.
  18. Thank you, Kamala, for insightfulness. We're in trouble: “I think of this moment as a moment that is about great momentum inspired by yes optimism, inspired by a crisis no doubt um but inspired also by our collective ability to see what can be unburdened by what has been and that’s critically important.” “And by the way when we talk about our small businesses it – not only is it intergenerational but also we’ve got entrepreneurs in their teens and twenties to families who have been doing this for generations, and in you know our seniors and so it’s really that’s also what’s also exciting about our small businesses and who they are ‘cause it spans the generations in addition to being intergenerational.” “Today the business of our work is for the Council to report on the work that has occurred since our last meeting across these areas. We will today also discuss the work yet ahead – the work that we must still do to continue to move forward.” “We will work together, and continue to work together to address these issues, and to work together as we continue to work operating from the new norms, rules and agreements, that we will continue to work together. We will work on this together.” “Today America has more than a half-million miles of transmission lines, enough to wrap around the globe 24 times. These lines connect the power plants where electricity is created to homes and businesses and schools and hospitals across our nation.” “Think about it every time you turn on a light or charge a laptop or plug in your air conditioner or put leftovers in the ‘fridge. You rely on the power delivered by our nation’s network of transmission lines.” “Let’s talk about how you get a line of credit. Who of us grew up with our parents talking about a phrase, line of credit, right? This, these are things you learn if someone takes the time to teach you because they know.” “I convened and I have convened now at least three times now uh a group that has as their acronym Caricom, it is the Caribbean nations, island nations in the western hemisphere. That is where the Caribbean is. We are also in the western hemisphere. They are our neighbors.”
  19. Maybe that pie-in-the-face Bill Gates got some years ago grossly affected his thinking.
  20. Chinese are testing Dementia Joe's resolve....they're betting Joe will hide in his basement until the crisis is over.
  21. And a big shoutout to Lori "Beetlejuice" Lightfoot for running such a safe city for all to enjoy.
  22. Imagine a guy with his "equipment" in a woman's prison....either it will be really good or really bad, but not in-between.
