mr.d
How to Light a Campfire Without a Match No matches? No problem. Using some items you may already have at your campsite, like a soda can and some chocolate, you can get a fire going. Just be sure you
junk
I like to practice Bushcraft skills and have started fire many different ways. My Advice to all,,,,,make a Bic lighter part of your daily carry in your pocket or purse. Bon and lavender

WMJ77
you dont have to use the whole bar, just a little, eat the rest while waiting for fire
WMJ77
I watched the show....4 fat guys in the woods.....they started a fire with 2 flat stones , a tampon, and wood/ ash/ coal/dust....it was interesting same with a battery from your flashlight and the foil from a gum wrapper did you know....corn chips, potato chips or anything like that, that is fried in oil will burn to help get a fire going (you need a flame for this one) x-tra fine steel wool and a 9 v battery does great too
legal
Gasoline/Kerosene also really get the fire roaring. hipower
lavender
Let's see, I'm stuck out in the woods with no matches and not a house in sight but I happen to have an empty soda can and some chocolate. Plus I have sufficient sunlight and dry tinder. Two things that are sort of hard to find in the woods but moving on and assuming that I'm somewhere where both are present. What are the odds that I haven't eaten the chocolate? Slightly under 0. Maybe about a -5. Bon
