What a awesome day, took the 9 year old on 1st roller coaster, saw some cool cars, had hundreds/thousands of people check out our cars that day inside the park, it was fantastic !! https://www.facebook.com/thertguy/media_set?set=a.10214341757916421&type=3

  2. I have been researching the DuBois Brewing Company architecture for a number of years, and while I have found many great exterior pics on the web (especially those at the wonderful Historical Society site) I have come up completely "dry" as to finding anything much at all in the way of "interior" Brewery photographs in general. I am particularly interested in documenting the stand-alone Office Building (built later on in 1905-1906) with its basement room "Sternewirth" where I understand beer was served to the employees, and especially the second floor oak paneled "Social" room with large decorative painted murals which was located next to the Executive Offices. I'd actually be very interested in pics of any and all interior rooms of that Office Building from any time period, and any exterior shots as well. For my research, finding Period pics from around the time of the building's completion in 1905-1906 (or thereabouts), especially of those two particular rooms would be an absolute Godsend akin to finding the Holy Grail! After many years, I have just about given up trying to find such interior shots, but hope springs eternal and I'm clinging to the idea that maybe I have just been looking in the wrong places... so I'm trying this. I would be eternally grateful if someone local might be able to please help me either with pictures, or by pointing me in the direction of potential research avenues to find such pics. Thanks in advance for any and all kind assistance.

  3. How about the library? Are people allowed there to look for artifacts?

    Rent A Goat

Goats have to be "trained" to any type of electric fencing. They will run right over/through it if they aren't. You will also need to buy a fence charger that will deliver enough voltage to control the goats. Most net fencing will state how many stored joules are required per section. I've been raising goats for years, some will stay in an electric fence and some just don't seem to get it.

  7. Unless a way is found to stir up the media or the workers find a way to keep this moving I fear the whole thing will fade into obscurity. That is extremely sad. From a media view, this isn't the hot headline of the day and we are in a very small market for them. We aren't dealing with the first string players. I'm not even sure those who report locally could be the "B" team. If a motivated reporter could get immersed in this and make it national news it could be a career making story. I don't see any indication of that happening currently. From the workers side they need to find a way to keep the media interested and investigating deeper and deeper. That may require someone, or several someones, to put their jobs at risk. Not an easy thing to do or expect someone else to do.
