Where is it?

So many stores over bought. Then things changed then they went under. Seems like Ames Kmart etc owners may have done that. I expect Doller General to be sorry in the future. Watch the next ten years. Someday healthcare will be the opposite.

How many were actually able to get 1.77 gas? Hubby said Blinkerlight sheetz had a line down the highway. Be careful everyone near a Sheetz!

60 years ago my parents sometimes had my big brother burn garbage. He didn't pay attention and it got away from him. I was 4 for 5 and had no idea what was happening. I went outside to see what the noise was and there was a firetruck. The fireman asked if I started the fire. Don't know if he was joking or what but that memory is scorched on my brain. Somewhat pun intended. Seems fitting for the feeling I get every time I think of it.

get some k-9 officers at the door and check ....turn the dogs loose if they cant prove they paid....it will stop quick
The dogs will smell fear and know which ones. There are people taught body language enough to pick out the thieves. Thought the store had enough security cameras at least to get the bigger items like tvs that aren't paid for.

Anyone against guns and the constitution should be kicked out of the country, no matter who they think they are!

They used to have a Sunday buffet we went to several times. Knew one of the chefs.

I dont know. We knew someone with 2 cats when our 20 yr old cat died. Hope you find someone. Sorry for their loss of furry family member.

If an area cannot be known for jobs, at least people hear we exist this way. Punxsy for that darn groundhog and us for bigfoot.

Northsouthgirl was running some meetings. I think they fizzled out in DuBois, but she might still go to the winery. She is the most knowledgeable person I know about coupons. I hit or miss. I have gotten some 2 liters of pepsi brand pop for 24 cents each in the past. That is my best. Have a wonderful day.

I have been told that Du Bois made all kind of things and was a city that could survive by itself. Had the icecream, beer, battery, all kinds of factories. It also had a time you could quit a job one day and be working at another the next. Would love to see that kind of place here once in my lifetime.

Didn't have the heart to plant any this year because of last year's disappointment. I hope that by next year it will be alright to plant them again and have no problem. Does anyone know whether the land would be ok 2 years later? Thanks.

Some of us would also love to hear them. Would you share the ones you have?
Only those interested would bother reading them.

Just a little off topic-hope you don't mind, what were those washcloth type things you could put in the wash over and over? We had one and it turned brown by the time I stopped using it. Actually, my husband at the time was bedfast, and his aide started using it as a washcloth. I tried not to laugh. Are those still around or what are they called to order online? I cannot stand long times to look. Thanks.

Both were there at different times. That building has been empty too long. I am not a fan of the Punxsy restaurant's food or prices the one time I was there about a year ago.
