I think you might be reading too much into the name. The citizenry of Sandy Twp already have "DuBois, PA 15801" as their mailing addresses. To think it would be anything other than "DuBois" at the conclusion was highly unlikely.

I agree with this statement wholeheartedly. But I will admit I'd be more suspicious if I saw one going to the other's home under the cover of darkness, rather than in public. Perhaps Interim was wired?

So where is the $364,990 that wasn't spent? The list of contributors/contributions versus the expenditures leaves a significant amount unspent. *I'm not saying it's right, but some of those people likely felt pressured to donate because of his "clout" in town along with the clout he may have had if he had run a successful campaign and won the seat. And...why wasn't he put on administrative leave or terminated when the "raid" happened in April 2022? He should have been removed from any and all accounts that very day at a minimum. Casting suspicion on an entire local government should be reason for termination. One would think he's (they've) had time to move things around, cover it up and be able to access it once ousted. I don't think he was operating alone. Time to clean house.

I am not a fan of the pavilion or the sign. Personally, I think it detracts from the area.

I'm perhaps late to the party, but I've yet to see what the time line is for the light to be returned to operational. Are we waiting on a part?

Why is the secretary unnamed in the affidavit? Other parties were named.

A large fine to the entity will only serve to further increase the rates charged to those of us that are REQUIRED by our residency in certain areas to use the services. I would prefer that any large dollar amount go to those injured, instead of to line the pockets of some government agency.

I know some are upset by it only being a $12k fine, but please remember that fine is only what is being paid to a government agency. That is not intended to place a dollar value on the life lost. Hopefully this will set a precedent so that it doesn't happen again and that Mr. Pierce's family is able to pursue a settlement that will allow them to at least be a little more comfortable while they attempt to heal their hearts from their tragic loss.

Dang! I sent mine out for recycling last night. I wish I would have thought to donate them. I have a few plants that still need to find a spot. I will be sure to save those ones for you.
